Kalliv is a very anxious kid who, after a series of misadventures while he was transformed into a mouse, landed himself far away from his home in the Rainforest.
He found himself in Mao's care and spent many Cycles of the Seasons with him while forgetting he was more than just a wood mouse
until he remembered who he was during the events of Chapter 3.
Once he regains his memories he decides he would like to go home to his real family, but is too overwhlemed to have any idea on where to begin.
Mao agrees to take him and he feels safer sticking around him despite all the trouble it leads them to. He has many many siblings.

He is extremely nearsighted and red-green colourblind and tends not to rely on sight too much as a result. His sense of smell and hearing are
both very sharp, and he has much better than average reflexes and reaction times with an emphasis on a flight response.
Despite his small size his legs are strong and he can jump pretty high, something even more true in beast form where he can get up a tree in an instant.
His magic is rather underdeveloped, but he also has the ability to grow vines and grass knots, however he is more prone to panic and fear. He is right handed.
His dream zone consists of his original home in the Rainforest.
His soul colour is sky blue, and his birthmark is the Forest Clan's mark, usually hidden but located on his left calf.
